We attended a wedding reception of our friends Ika and Davy at the Omah Senduk, Jakarta. Not sure whether I got that spelling right or not.

I was a great evening and it is good to know that Ika & Davy finally tie the knot!

Below are some of the photos that we managed to snap during the event!

Enjoy!

See how good looking Pasha is in his suit.

Lastly, Congratulations to Ika & Davy!

We went to Taman Safari in Bogor.

There are elephants and zebras. Look at the zebra that tried to eat us. The last picture above is the drive, Om Nanang.

This deer was posing away for the camera as well as exchanging stares with Pasha. There was a big hippo and some camels as well. Pasha had never got this close to these big animals before and he was really excited.

More deers and some other animals walking around. There were llamas too and Pasha wanted to get out of the car...

There were bears and also some other animals that tried to eat us again. Last picture showing Mama Pasha and Tante Ruri with the window opened at a harmless area...

Pasha watching some deers having an evening snack. There was a leopard relaxing on a hollow branch, a couple of black animals sleeping on the tree branch, an owl, a few hippos playing in a stream and a giraffe looking away...

A lion having a break, some tigers showing their muscles and some rhinos having their snack...

Pasha and Papa at the souvenir shops and family photos at the Rain Forest Restaurant before we left...

We went for a short holiday to Indonesia recently and here are our travel notes.

May 27, 2008 - Shah Alam to Dumai

We left Shah Alam at about 6:00 am and reached Melaka Port at about 8:30 am. We still chose Melaka as it is less crowded and the time on ferry would be only about 2 hours compared to 4 hours if we were to go from Port Klang to Dumai. On the ferry, we managed to watch a funny Malay movie called Duyung that kept us awake throughout the whole trip so that we could watch over Pasha, who decided not sleep, at the same time.

May 28, 2008 - Dumai to Jakarta

We took an afternoon flight from Dumai to Jakarta. Pasha did not get a seat like the previous trip since Pelita Air has numbered seats unlike AirAsia. So, he had to sit on our laps for the 2 hours 45 minutes flight.

Here are photos of Pasha and Mama Diah on the plane. Pasha refused to be seated throughout the flight and he insisted to be let loose to walk along the aisle from front to the back of the Fokker 100. He would cry and scream if we were to stop him and to cool him down we took turn to accompany him from the front to the back of the plane while he greeted all the seated passengers.

May 29, 2008 - Jet Lag in Jakarta

Here is a photo of Pasha and Papa Bear having a jet lag... The next photo is Pasha playing with his Mickey Mouse puppet before leaving for Taman Safari in Bogor. That will be in the next update.

On Saturday, 5th April 2008, we visited the Hari Kraf Kebangsaan 2008 (National Craft Day 2008) that was held at the Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur.

Pasha and Papa Bear

Some of the stuffs on sale/displayed at the exhibition. Ceramic/Pottery stuffs, songkets, lanterns and many more!

Pasha and Mama. Pasha really enjoyed the crowd and all those colorful things on display and he even got his first ever balloon and he loved it. But unfortunately, few minutes later the balloon exploded and thanks to Papa Bear.

This was definitely a good outing for the whole family and there are lots of things that we saw there including some of those heritage stuffs that could hardly be found anywhere anymore. Pasha seemed to enjoy this event more than the the Aquaria and he even said "Hi!" to some people that he met there.
